The Taco Index was added during Taco Tuesday on January 20 and will last for a total of 11 days. Once the event ends, Taco Index progress will be locked and the Taco Base will no longer be obtainable.
The index includes 22 Taco-themed Brainrots, pulling from multiple sources such as Taco Lucky Blocks, Fat Sammy Brainrots, and select Piñata Brainrots. A notable exception is Los Tacoritas, which does not count toward the Taco Index despite being Taco-themed.

To unlock the limited-time Taco Base, players must collect 90% of the Taco Index, which equals 20 out of 22 Taco Brainrots, before January 30, 2026.
After significant player backlash during Taco Tuesday, Sammy confirmed the requirement will be reduced in the coming days, likely down to 18 or 19 Taco Brainrots. This change should make the Taco Base more achievable for players who are close to completing the index.
How to Get Taco Brainrots in SAB
Play Taco Tuesday, Trade with Friends & Steal from Other Players!
The fastest way to complete the Taco Index is to actively participate in Taco Tuesday events, where Taco Lucky Blocks and Taco Brainrots are most commonly obtained.
Players should also take advantage of Saturday Admin Abuses and the upcoming Taco Tuesday, as these events significantly increase the chances of obtaining missing Taco Brainrots.
If luck isn’t on your side, trading with friends, stealing Taco Brainrots from other players or duels are highly effective. Any Taco Brainrot acquired this way will count toward your Taco Index completion.
